Nina Burke Nina is Chair of the Growing Together Latrobe  (GTL) team which is committed to engaging "at risk" primary aged youth in learning through school gardens. GTL aims to build and maintain a healthy food culture and sense of well-being from growing healthy food. It shares information, resources and events that support schools and community gardens and enjoys broad representation from community organisations. Nina is a team member of ReActivate Latrobe Valley  and was President of Moe Development Group  during the tumultuous period of privatisation in the Latrobe Valley. Nina’s background is in business and tourism but she has also studied sustainable agriculture and been involved in social justice activities. Nina is excited about ‘Get Stuffed’ as a grass roots initiative that will utilise the region’s good soil, available water, great climate and engage the cultural heritage of the local community.

Ian Onley Ian  is a member of the Latrobe Valley Sustainability Group and has been involved heavily in local 'Lock the Gate' groups - seeking to ban coal seam gas mining in Victoria.  A 'Demeter' Biodynamic farmer for over twenty years, he has experience in dairying, beef and commercial vegetable growing. Ian now concentrates on free range egg production and home gardening. Ian is excited to part of Get Stuffed because it has the potential to bring many to a place where they can support themselves and grow a food based business. He wants to help people breathe life back into their soils so they can grow beautiful tasting, nutritious food that will keep people coming back for more.
Kyle Bush Kyle's a designer and researcher working with ReActivate Latrobe Valley , and is interested in how different ways of sharing and trading can shape better towns and cities. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a Masters of Landscape Architecture, and has explored how urban waste products can be utilised as a resource for creating new spaces for public  and private  use. He has also taught at university level in Queensland and Victoria, and designed and delivered practical workshops  focused on urban sustainability for a wide range of audiences. For Kyle, 'Get Stuffed' offers a great opportunity to for us to explore how we can connect and grow together through food in the Latrobe Valley.

Joh Lyons Joh is passionate about highlighting and harnessing local strengths and bringing people together to share knowledge. Joh is active in the VRI initiative ,  50 Mile Farmers Market ,  Reactivate Latrobe Valley ,  Traralgon Neighborhood Learning House  and,  Growing Together Latrobe . In the late 1990s, Joh initiated the community gardens at Moe Neighborhood House and, in 2013, Traralgon Neighborhood House. She helped establish the 50 Mile Farmers’ Markets in Traralgon and Morwell and the VRI Traralgon community garden. Joh loves eating fresh, local food.  She is enthusiastic about ‘Get Stuffed’ as a grassroots project that taps into the existing wealth of knowledge in Latrobe City’s community to support good health and generate economic benefits for the community.

Emma Lewis

Lizi manages the Morwell 50 Mile Farmers Market and owns local food business, Raw Harvest .  She is a qualified nutritionist with a background in community health and primary health care, intolerances, eating disorders and food development. Lizi is passionate about providing locally grown and handmade products to the community, using seasonal produce - the foundation of Raw Harvest. Lizi is a member of Support Local Gippsland .  Every weekend, Lizi frequents Gippsland and Latrobe Valley-based markets witnessing the thriving enthusiasm, entrepreneurship and creativity on display.   Lizi is excited by Get Stuffed focusing on the basics of nutritious food production - encouraging connections between local producers and customers, promoting community education, and sharing information, ideas and enthusiasm.
